2025 in Review: A Year of Community, Healing & Growth

Quarterly Newsletter - February 2026

From the slopes of Mt. Hood to the waters of the Willamette River, 2025 was a year of meaningful connection and community building.

We celebrated the third season of Pan African Snow Days, welcomed over 15 local Black men and families to our intro to angling event on the river, and secured an official Men's Health Month proclamation from Multnomah County—recognizing the critical importance of breaking stigma around men's mental health, isolation, and wellness.

Our June festivities culminated in an unforgettable Juneteenth Wellness Week filled with social games, golf, archery, kayaking, and more, while our collaboration in Be The Healing Symposium brought together Black men for vulnerable conversations, somatic breathwork, yoga, sound healing, and collective restoration.

These moments—whether on mountains, rivers, or in community spaces—reflected our shared commitment to healing and lifting each other up.
